Do online surveys scam you or do they really work? Do they send viruses to your computer? If they don't what are some good ones?

These are a list of ones I use you can earn an extra few pounds, vouchers and even testing products free at home for them. I have never been spamed by any of the sites I use they are all reputable and I have been a member for a few years. You dont have to pay anything or sign up for anything and you only answer the questionaires you want to and there is certainly no software to download. They all have a privacy poilcy so they CANNOT sell on your details to anyone else. The companies approach them to find customers to review their products and you are selected by your profile of options you give them in the initial registration. Dont be expecting to earn a fortune though. The average is about £50 a year from each survey company in my opinion.

If you want to just earn money for just buying your usual stuff online then you need to join the cashback sites too. You can certainly earn a lot of money with them if you make a lot of purchases online. I have personally earned hundreds of pounds in cashback from both of these sites in the last year from buying car insurance to booking my holiday.

Well, there are some survey scam sites, but also quite a few legitimate sites. I've listed most of the sites I have taken surveys through and actually been paid (or received other rewards like gift cards or CD'S) on the following webpage:

I've never gotten a virus through a survey site...though we run Linux so that protects me from a lot of viruses (which are mainly aimed at holes in Windows systems).

I also have some info on my site on how to avoid survey scams, if your are interested:
cards or CD'S) on the following webpage:

The ones that claim to give you something for nothing are scams. The honest ones will do something like enter your name in a drawing for a prize and thank you for your time. Even if you never win, at least they're not lying and saying that you will.

I regularly answer surveys for NPD Online Research. I've never won anything, but filling them out is kind of fun, so I have no complaints.

I've sign up for some but quit because I've heard about spam and all that crap. It's not a good way to get some money. If you want to make money online I suggest something like Agloco. If google and myspace put their money on Agloco and it's free to join then what the heck right? You could find more infomation
