I think that as soon as we attack Iran, it will be on. The British and Australians will be the only ones with us. Everyone else will be against us.

its not about allies and enemys anymore, there will never be a war like ww2, we just dont fight like that anymore. Theres more strategy, technology and tactics used in warfare now. all to assure the safety of our soliders. so with that in mind i really dont think a world war can take place, it would be one sided to the more advanced side.
in the event of mass alliance against us, i do think countries would stand up for us and "just in case" be prepared to fight, like we are for some.
