No, who cares. Forsberg is going to get hurt once again, and the Sabres will win it all.

Its hard to say who will win, but getting Forsberg certainly helps your chances. The guy is a beast. BUT, and there is a but, Forsberg's foot has been giving him problems so unless it won't affect his play, the Preds are still at square one with a smidge greater talent. I think in the end, it will come down to 4 teams. Either the Sabres, Sharks, Ducks, or Predators. My heart says Sharks, but after the spanking layed by Nashville, I'm starting to think it might be them.

Here in Nahville, everyone had been talking about the Preds prospects for the cup way before the trade for Forsberg. We're gonna win this thing! You people will finally give us some respect as a hockey team.

No, I honestly don't see Forsberg meshing well with the Preds and their season not working as planned. Which is added to the fact they still play a weak schedule and I haven't been convinced they are for real.

Prior to the acquiring Forsberg I thought they had a chance. Their goaltending is solid...the having scoring punch. Now ith Forsberg? They bring an added value of more hockey smarts, offense and leadership.

They are among the favorites. I'd look out for Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay and Ottawa coming out of the East as well.
It's just a shame that such a talented team is stuck in Nashville where few care about them at all. Move them to Hartford, Winnipeg or Quebec City for crissakes!

they have an excellent chance, as good as anyone else. reuniting forsberg and kariya is genius -- they played very well together in colorado. it all boils down to goaltending - can mason/vokoun lead the way and steal close games? if so, they are probably the favorite.

They look good so far. And with Forsberg, should do even better.

I really like the Preds chances. I'm an Edmonton Oilers fan... and I liked the Preds chances before the trade. Now I think they're the team to beat for sure. Good Luck.

I don't think so!!! there are to many other good teams that could easily knock them off. A team with a hot goaltender and a good defense could easily send them to the golf courses early!!
