its a 40 gallon tank but engine size doesnt matter, just if its gas or diesel is the only diff.but yours is gas

Suburbans were single tank vehicles by 86, located between the frame rails, it could be 30 or 40, back then you could pick options singally

I would assume it's the standard GM (for large consumption engines) 25 gal. but maybe larger since the suburban has so much space...

I think that truck has two gas tanks and they would be like 40 to 60 gallons.
