I know its not in Culver City...but close to it...I love the milk shakes at Ruby's Diner in Marina Del Rey, its across the street from Barnes and Noble on the second floor of the mall. The address is: 13455 Maxella Avenue, Marina Del Rey, CA 90292 ph # (310) 574-7829. Their cheese burgers are the best too, I wish we had one in nor cal!

Dolores Rest...Santa Monica Blvd. (near Barrington) it's actually West Los Angeles but within 5 miles of Culver City.
Milk Shakes and Malts made with real ice cream and loads of whipped cream on top!!!

well, i live in Kentucky so i can't really help you out by telling you somewhere to go.
but if you have a blender, some vanilla ice cream, milk, and some fresh fruit, peanut butter, etc. you can make one yourself.
for one serving, put about 1 1/2 -2 cups of ice cream in the blender with your fruit or peanut butter or w/e. blend for about 30 seconds, then slowly add milk and blend until it's the right consistency (more milk for a thin shake, less for a thick shake.

personally, i am a fan of "fat burger" and they are on the corner of sawtelle and venice ... but they only have the basics (choc/van/straw) ... and, of course, you can always go for a frosty at the only reachable wendy's on the west side -- where washington and culver blvd meet up (near robertson) ...
