He has a lot of unanswered questions remaining about his involvement with the Keating scandal ansd the collapse of Savings and Loans which robbed the people who trusted them. He went to Jerry Falwell's laughably-named "university" as their featured speaker and identified with it. Now he gives his support to the escalation of Bush's "war" on Iraq. Is he your kind of guy? I hope not.

I would trust anyone who served his country with a military record like John McCain rather than a politician.

His wife is the owner of a major liqour distribution company back in AZ. There's no need to feel sorry for the John McCains of the world. When he did the major flip flop on the Military Combatants Act he placed himself in the typical Bushite shitpile of legislators.
So now his own constituents are calling for his head.

The answer is not about trusting one man or one woman.
whoever is elected NEVER works alone and never makes the decisions alone.
Take president Bush, he is not alone making all the decisions, he comes with a vice president, a secretary of state, of internal affairs of external affairs, etc... there is also a senate and a congress .... so who do you or do not trust?
At the end it is about finding the right balance in our political choices not about trusting one person.

anybody who has adventure with a loved one with a drug dependancy is going to resent this question. Like a significantly better 0.5 has administration over the dependancy of the different better 0.5. the guy who continues to be through all of it is to be respected for it. this isn't a believe issue, that is an dependancy issue.

He's a nutcase in my opinion. Very weird and inconsistent.

However, he is a war hero, and for his service to our country I respect him. That doesn't mean I want him to be my president though.

He's not conservative enough for me. For a guy who survived POW camps, he sure has turned into a wimp lately.
