MATERIALS NEEDED
Two 10-foot lengths of 1 1/2-inch PVC pipe
• 6 matching elbow connectors
• A street-hockey size replacement net--We used a Mylec brand net, with sleeves that slide over the posts (about $15 from Hockey Giant.com

1. Using a hacksaw or other fine-tooth saw, cut one pipe into two 51-inch lengths, leaving 18 inches of scrap.

2. Cut the other pipe into two 40-inch lengths and two 20-inch lengths. Then simply assemble the net, sliding on the sleeves of the netting as you go.

Take it from experience. If you are making this net for ice hockey you are wasting your time. Unless you plan on never hitting the post, it will break. I know it's uglier but try using wood instead of PVC piping...
