Rock on with your dreaming self. You are officially allowed to use Dreamt, and it's correct with the rest of society as well.

I think either way is acceptable nowadays. I know I've seen it written in novels as dreamt and also dreamed. So I think it will float.

Dreamt is fine. Depends upon its use in the structure of the sentence.

You can say anything you want to say, George! Just make sure your grammar is correct on job applications and school reports...the rest of the time, say what you want to! (Oh, and if you write for a newspaper, forget the grammar entirely, unless it's on the east coast of the USA!)
