HELP!!! PLEASE!! How did Creon in Antigone affect the rest of the people in the book??

How did Creaon in Antigone affect the other characters in the play? How did it add to make the whole play tragic??

If I remember correctly, Creon was an oppressive leader who believed he was right and tolerated no dissent. It wasn't until Antigone died that he saw the error of his ways.
