Once I sued in Small Claims Court and got the stuff back that somebody took and $15 for expenses. I was in a class action suit a few times, best I ever won in one of them was a certificate for two spark plugs. I've never been sued myself, yet lol.

I was sued over a car accident. The guy sued me for $30,000 for pain and suffering and lost wages, even though he had not had a job in over 2 years. His wife also sued me for $15,000 because he could not perform in bed anymore. She should have thanked me he was gross.
We went to trial and he got $17,000 and hers was thrown out. After-wards I found out that suing people was his full time job. He sued a friend of mines mom for $100,000 for a similar accident.
I think he went around trying to get hit to sue.
He later tried to kill himself by setting his daughters apt. on fire, (he lived with her). He almost killed a young mother and her daughter in the process. He lived.
I think before someone can file a law suite there should be some sort of screening process to ensure that it is valid.

Yes, I have sued! The winnings were dictated by Workman's Compensation laws and were under $20K! Our lawyer got to keep most of it!

When I moved out of my friends house she sued me to get rent from after I moved out!
At trial, she only got the bills I owed, which I would have paid if she had sent me copies like I asked. So I consider it a victory!

I've been sued and the court slapped the dummy down for frivolous interpretation of the law, I got attorney's fees covered for my trouble. I've sued for copyright infringement and unjust enrichment from the stolen material, I got treble (3x) damages, attorneys fees and court costs. I've sued for non-payment of invoices and been awarded 1/2, with attorneys fees and court costs covered by the defendant.
