I support the troops by joining them. Soon for boot camp in Ft. Leonard Wood.
If you say you support the troops but not their mission, how do you support the troops? Why don't more of the people who say they do put their money where their mouth is? Despite what John Kerry may say, I have many opportunities. Not only that but I am living a very comfortable life as a health care professional. I'll fight and die for all of the people to praise/bash the USA and/or administration. Funny how so many do put up or shut up. So how do you support the troops? Now is the time.

Answer the question. How do you, in the real world, support the troops?

I send money (monthly) to revolving groups....Soldier's Angels, Wounded Warriors, Disabled Vets. I appreciate and am grateful to all our former and now serving military AND I support their mission to WIN this war by allowing the Iraqi government to be able to defend its people by their ELECTED government.

We all pay our taxes to support them but I think you mean a more personal support. I must say I talk a lot about supporting them but seldom get around to doing anything. I would like to know some sights we as Americans can do more for our troops. Sean Hannity, like him or loath him has a couple of concerts every year to raise money for the children of our soldiers. I salute his efforts and ask all Americans to do more for our brave men and women who protect us.

I think the best way to support them is to make every effort to get them back home alive. Especially those National Guardsman serving multiple tours in harms way., who were simply trying to make a living and care for their families before they were called up. I know they are proud to serve their country but shouldn't we civilians be responsible enough to only tear them away from their family for and jobs for an honest threat and for a just and worthy cause.

support them by bringing them home to their families because they are missed. We also need someone to watch the 7,000 Iraqi's Bush is bringing over here so someone has to guard the home front.

this is a good question and i cant wait to see their responses. I believe that in support our troops i dont mind opening my wallet to pay for their food and guns. however, i think we need to support our troops and not ADD to them!
