does anyone remember a programme in the early 80`s it was either called marmalade or something else the character was called marmelade she was a rebelious school girl

Marmalade Atkins.
The lead was played by Charlotte Coleman, who sadly died from an asthma attack :-(.

It was called Educating Marmalade. She had a hair style a bit like Cybil Fawlty, complete with grey streak through it.
