I want to get my boyfriend's brother and sister a easter gift basket, any ideas of what I could get them, the girl is 12 and the boy is 8. I know it's early , but I want to have ideas ready. Thanks and have a nice day.

spring time outside kind of toys like jumpropes, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and kites. You can really fill up a basket with a cute kite! They make bubbles that are not just the regular little bottle of bubbles, but something an older child or boy might like, with fancy looking wands to blow a zillion bubbles at once. Squirt guns if you dare! Could be fun. And since they eat a lot of Easter candy, a really fun toothbrush is actually kind of cool. They make them now that play tunes while you brush, like from High School Musical or Hanna Montana (guaranteed the 12 year old will like.)
My kids love the kind of candy you can only get at Easter, like Creme Eggs and Peeps.

Well of course candy is an absolute must, for any age! {laughing} For the boy things like small Lego set, toy cars, hand-held electronic game, and action figures. The girl would probably be thrilled with a gift card, 12 yr olds like show their independence by doing their own shopping. Or hair things, make-up, jewelry, CD, cute sock, and wallet.
Good Luck!

Just make sure you get good candy and a few things they really like. CD's, hair thingies, Oh and my son always liked balsa wood airplanes.
My daughter liked when I used a really cute purse as the basket.

I have twelve year old girls.
Get stuff from Claire's. Earrings, hair things, necklaces. Also, andy kind of lip gloss, mechanical pencils, stickers, body sprays, different small candies.
I have no boys, so hopefully you'll get other ideas.
