When i try to restore my ipod the restring bar freezes, i miss my music greatly and i cant put any new songs on because it wont restore. I have an ipod nano, and the newest version of itunes, I need help please.

tbh iv never restored my ipod.. just try and turn the hold on. turn the hold off. hold the menu button and the center button at the same time untill the apple logo comes up. that what i do whenever mine goes funny or freezes. good luck x

there is not any thank you to brick an ipod. era.. reinstall itunes. reboot pc . restore ipod in itunes. use redsn0w 0.9.6rc8 to jailbreak it. no longer 0.9.6b4. if it did no longer artwork to repair it, get carry of ireb to get you into DFU mode. then start up over. it is going to artwork.

I would try closing all programs before you do that. Close and turn off any unnecessary junk. Unplug other stuff from the computer.
If that still didn't work I would try deleting data off the nano from Windows.

http://www.apple.com/itunes/ u will be able to get some answers there or just phone their customer service
