They need to be separated at 3 weeks of age.

At 3 weeks, the male babies will become sexually active and can reimpregnate the mother. It is fine to leave females with them for longer, however, it is not necessary.

Male babies may start displaying mounting behaviour as young as one week old, but this is not a cause for concern. However, males may become fertile from as young as three weeks old and should really be removed from the mother and sisters at around that time, to prevent in-breeding. The female babies can stay with the mother into adulthood, or be re-homed at around six weeks.

At about four weeks as long as they are eating solids just make sure you keep a close eye on them for the first couple of days. And split the boys and girls up.

As soon as they can eat solid food. I had a guinea pig die during birth and bottle-fed them to the point they could eat solid food. They'll be fine.

Remove them at SIX WEEKS of age. If you have any males they can get the mother preganant or the other females when they are six weeks of age.
