They are the most stable due to having the maximum number of valence electrons their outer shell can hold. Therefore, they rarely react with other elements since they are already stable. Other characteristics of the noble gases are that they all conduct electricity, fluoresce, are odorless and colorless, and are used in many conditions when a stable element is needed to maintain a safe and constant environment.

Bro, the whole point of noble gases is they DONT react. There's no reason for them to react since they already have 8 electrons in their outer shells. Except helium of course, but it only needs 2.

all the noble gases have 8 electrons on the last covering-maybe it's called different in english, not covering but I dunno...(exept helium, it has 2). And if an element has 8 electrons on the last covering it has a stable configuration(exept helium, again).

All noble gases are extremely unreactive and are used to store extremely reactive alkali and alkali earth metals.

I believe it has to do with the fact that their outermost electron "shells" are full. This usually consists of 8 electrons, except in the case of Helium, which has 2 electrons that fill up its outermost shell.

they all have full "outer-most electron shells". they will not react with any other elements because they already have the goal of 8. the reason that things react is because of electron giving, taking, or sharing and no one wants to give or take if they already have 8.

all have a full octet, or a full shell of alence electrons. (need 8 to have a full shell)
least reactive of all elements.
