I don't understand why chilli constantly advertise in the tri-state area but don't have any chilli restaurants in the big apple. What's goin on?? They're a tease...and all commericals should be banned. Is the chillli chain going to swing in my direction, if so i will take this question down, but for now I'm furious.

You kinda answered your own question, Chilli's advertises in the tri state area, there are plenty of Chilli's in New Jersey where I live, which is part of the tri state area. The Local TV networks get advertisement from all over the tri state area. I always see advertisements specific to New York that don't apply to my area

TV stations have a wide viewing area sometimes. Just because the company isn't where you are doesn't mean it isn't where some of the other viewers of that same station are. Save your anger for something really important.
