Obviously, the guy above me has no clue that Pierce is the Celtics best player...They better not get rid of him...unless they get #1 draft picks for like the next 5 years...

The Celtics right now don't have a future core, they are going to have to hope for a number one draft pick that emerges into a superstar. Right Now, you may consider Paul Pierce to be the core, but he is definately not the future. If they know what's best for not only Pierce, but the Celtics' franchise, they would trade him to get good young players or even draft picks which sometimes are just as good.
