i'd go with the best in the league -- those with proven shootout finishing ability. these three score more than 75% of the time, which is amazing

Oh Cmon! You can find better shooters in a shootout than that! My first choice may be controversial with Brian Gionta. He has the chances to score goals on shootouts. I know he has the moves and is very good at faking out the goaltender. Alex Ovechkin is my other choice for shooter. You can basically figure out your own reason why this kid should be in your lineup during a shootout. He was born to score. My best choice to be a shooter is Viktor Kozlov!!! No one said this guy! Do you see the moves he pulls on goaltenders! When he was in Jersey I knew the guy could have goalies looking around their feet while he scores top shelf. Even recently, Kozlov scored the winning shootout goal for the Islanders. He is a deking GOD! It really is incredible to watch this guy! I mean, just look at the exclamation points! Before you deny his skill, watch him in a shootout .. Wow. He's big but his arm-reach makes his dekes dangerous! Viktor Kozlov is the best shooter to have in a shootout.

Well, as Tampa Bay's 8-1 in the shootout this year, I'd have to go with Vincent Lecavalier, also because he's the league leader in scoring. I'm also gonna go with Peter Forsberg (now of the Predators) and Daniel Brière (of the Sabres) who can read a goalie probably better than any player this year.
