im on zoloft right now for anxiety and have been since late july. im taking 75mg....when i first started taking it, i had withdrawal symptoms for a day or two, then i got used to it. I usually have the symptoms (dizzyiness and nausea) the day after i accidentally skip a dose. Two days ago i forgot to take it and yesterday i started to feel bad around 4 o clock so i took my medicine (i take my zoloft at night) now today at 2pm im starting to feel dizzy ...the withdrawal symptoms are coming earlier and earlier everytime i forget a dose and it messes up my whole schedule for when i take it...what is the problem??? do i need to take it earlier in the day or increase the dose or decrease it?

just keep taking it at the same time.
do not take a dose early! if you have accidentally missed one, take that one as soon as possible but don't let it mess up your schedule.
i know it's hard but STICK TO A SCHEDULE!
you may want to talk to your MD if you are still having side effects, he may want to lower your dosage and pair it with a different drug.

good luck! i know it's hard to get the schedule/combo right but don't ever mess with the dosage until a doctor tells you to!

Some people just can't take zoloft. I had the same effects if I was late taking a dose, or skipped a dose. I found if I took it at the same time, about an hour before going to bed it worked out best. If these side effects persist, talk to your doctor, you most likely need to decrease the dose you are taking.

When my brother passed away I was given Zoloft for depression. I was given 200 mg. When I tried to take my self off the drug I had all the symptoms you stated. I asked my doctor about this and was told NOT to just stop taking it that you need to slowly take smaller doses until you are weened off the stuff.
