wilt chamberlain. it was around 20,000. In an 1999 interview shortly before his death, Chamberlain explained: "I thought of a number [20,000] that was a round number that may be close and may be whatever, and I used that number […] The point of using the number was to show that sex was a great part of my life as basketball was a great part of my life. That's the reason why I was single." However, he regretted not explaining the sexual climate at the time of his escapades, and warned other men who admired him for it, and closed with the words: "Having a thousand different ladies is pretty cool, I have learned in my life I've found out that having one woman a thousand different times is much more satisfying." Chamberlain also acknowledged he never came close to marrying, and never had intention of raising any children

Wilt Chamberlain
But he never meant it figuratively. His thousands of women was a representation oh his lifestyle. He was not going to settle down and lived a frivolous way.

Wilt Chamberlain. However, I don't believe the hype...How'd he keep count...did he have a list? Sure, he probably slept with hundreds, but not tens of thousands.

They call him "Wilt the Stilt" and that's not for nothing... I bet that he has fathered at least five or six current NBA players.
