My friend and her mom don't get along too well. My friend has her moments like anyone, but is a normal sane person. For quite a few years now, my friend's mom is convinced that my friend is "psycho" and has something "wrong with her."(in reality, my friend went thru the rebellious stage that most teens go thru...I don't think her mom understood that completely, since she is a very strict parent) She kept telling my friend she needed counsellingIt got weirder and weirder. One day, my friend's mom tried to convince her that every memory she'd ever spoken of, was a figment of her imagination. My friend's mom even went so far as to attempt to convince her daughter that various relatives and real-life people never existed, and only existed in the daughter's head!(my friend's mom was lying) Why would her mom do that? Isn't there a disorder where parents try to convince others that their children are ill? Does this "disorder" apply to convincing others that their children are MENTALLY ill too

That mother is an evil person, and very obviously has mental issues herself. If she doesn't get help, the relationship between her and her daughter will be destroyed. What that mother is doing is disgusting, wrong and sick. Thank god your friend is not younger and more impressionable.
