Fact from fiction, truth from diction. I too wondered about that. I like the show, but they do seem to have some loose ends they never knot off. Chao Min is one of them. It was never said of she was deported, went to work in the cousin's restaurant or was allowed to stay on her own right because she birth an American. But life imitating art imitating life. If it were like many upscale neighborhoods around here, there would be a Middle Eastern or Asian family. None who life on Wisteria Lane. And there would be a Conservative African American family with no "unlawful skeletons" in the closet. Just like nothing was ever said about the kid who was home schooled who black mailed Gabby out of bike riding lessons. She said she was around "all the time" but you never see her. Not even peddling down the street. And who moved into the house of the hooker? So many loose ends Hahahaha. And how could Orson run down Mike and not damage his car? Cars these days with their plastic bumpers you hit a large enough raccoon you done damage.

the maid or the father of the child was given custody back of the child and protective services took it away.

i dont know they tried after that to get another baby from a stripper owner lady and then ended up getting in a fight over custody with the 14 year old father. (stripper lady cheated) and chow mein went to her friends chinese restaurant to work.

yea,, the Asian maid became into the surrogate, yet then it became out that the ivf or regardless of by probability positioned the incorrect egg in her so the child wasn't theirs, so as they had to offer it to the actual father and mom twas particularly humorous :P
