Unidentified Flying objects occur frequently to people all over earth. If you are asking if they are driven by an alien form from another planet, then no, we would know if a craft was in our atmosphere that did not belong to earth.

On that subject, I find it interesting that archaeologists have dug up thousands and thousands of dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures but have never unearthed a space ship or anything else that looked "techy". Either those aliens were astonishly good about cleaning up after themslves, or we are forced to conclude an alien has never landed here.

I also think this points to the very high probability that the "Roswell incident" was not due to a crashed alien spacecraft. I mean, imagine... the aliens could have come at any time in the last few hundred million years, and they picked the exact time that the US started experimenting with new military aircraft.

To all the people with overactive imaginations, who don't know how to identify a planet, airplane or helicopter, and who don't know an Iridium satellite when they see one, of course they do.

I'm not saying that I don't believe in the possibility of alien life...I'm just saying that there isn't a very convincing body of evidence to support the idea that extraterrestrials have visited earth.

Yes. In 'Contact' the main charterer said when asked if she thought if there was UFOs, "It would be quite a waist of space."

yes.

many times in the course of my life, I have seen unidentified objects in the sky. sometimes they are satellites. sometimes they are airplanes. but, for a while, i can't identify them.

you may be wondering if i believe in extraterrestial life? that's an entirely different question.
