I have just removed Norton anti virus and downloaded avast, all seems good with it at the moment - however 1 question, maybe you could answer 4 me is, when a "virus" is moved to the chest what happens to it? do i need to do anything? Thanks x

when the file is mved to the virus chest it is simply moved to a special folder, you should be able to deete the contents of this folder once you are happy it hasn't moved a file you need. This is done to protect against false positives. Files in this folder should be safe as they will have been stopped from running.

I used to use Avast and I switched to AVG. Good choice dumping Norton. I think it means it is containing the virus so you can delete it if you like.
