Im asking this because the government spends our money fruitlessly not caring for their own countrymen. The economy and well being is mor important than their selfish desires.

Common good as in Communism?
Here's an idea: How about the government stop spending our money on bigger planes for members of congress? It's time to cut the pork and focus on the real issues: national defense and border control.

It's not only about money spending fruitlessly, but that our government and those responsible for handling the money spent in Iraq had allowed the money to be unaccounted. 1 Billion dollars are floating some where in some people's secret accounts - money that could have and should have been spent in supporting the American troops in Iraq. Could the Senators ethically and morally agree to let Bush send more money for the lame excuses that the money is money needed for the Troops. Shouldn't he be asking the Contracted Firms and Companies to foot out what they or their employees have stolen to pay for the needs of the Troops.

The senators should opt for Bush and his advisors to start negotiating with the American Middle eastern Allies, e.g. Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Jordan, UAE, etc. those nations where our Oil Companies operate, and insist upon them to gather their Troops to gradually replace our tired and over-worked soldiers. Do Bush and his Middle Eastern Oil friends think that all these Middle Eastern Nations added up can't produce 150,000 soldiers? It's time they put in their soldiers and money and help to bring the Iraqis to their senses. These Middle eastern nations can beat around the bush among themselves about the Palestinian-Israel conflicts, why don't they they start gathering together to help Iraq out? And the rest of the Eropean nations can sit and yak about the dangers Iran would bring to Iraq. Why don't the fat asses of the European Union nations lift up their butts and send more soldiers and money from their countries into Iraq, instead of whining, brewing and spitting words, but no real real heroic gestures, or merely !eave the U.S. to bear the burden 99% of troops and finances while their EU Representatives attend fansy meetings with their Big Mouths just going jakkety, yak, yak.

Must the American Public keep allowing Bush, his Zionist NeoCons, and the lame and cowardly Senators to make fools out of the American People???? Stop talking about Iran which is mere Israeli propaganda. Afghanistan is the real problem, and Iraq is only a problem if we continue to leave our Troops in Iraq, only to return in coffins or return physically impaired!

yes i do think so, but unfortunately that will never happen. do you know how much is being spent on supplies and whatnot? enough to cure poverty in America. However, most charities are corrupt and behind it all someone is gettin paid more money then we could ever known.

if you dont own a fortune 500 company, then keep begging the govt for handouts

The government has no money it is the people's money and they are simply the trustees. Find you rep, make an appointment and let them know how you want them to spend your money. If only more people would make their reps accountable maybe they would be.

It's not the governments money. It belongs to us. It should benefit us, not the Halliburtin hogs feeding at the public tax trough.

I don't think the governemt should spend any money on 99% of the crap they spend money on.

To spend money, they have to have money. To have money, they have to steal money. If you don't think they take your money by brute force, try not paying your protection money every April.

For the so-called 'poor' to get money, they have to take something that does not rightfully belong to them or to the government who gives it.

You voted for them.

Start voting for the Libertarian Party and you'll see less spending and less government intrusion.
