I am actually in charge of changing the oils in the vats at Mc Donald's so I know for a fact they have changed them. For the fires they melt vegetable shortening and for the chicken they use canola oil.

trans fat is bogus. most food doesn't have it, only real meat that hasn't been majorly processed. companies and fast food just started advertising it so people mistake no trans for no fat at all. all most all fast food chains don't have trans fat.
