Poll for those with long hair?

Question

Does it ever just aggravate you so bad you want to have it whacked off? Mine is down to my waist, and I love it, but damned if it doesn't just p!ss me off sometimes!

Of course, we don't mean it when we threaten to cut it, because we know that the minute it hits the floor, we're going to be sitting there saying, "Oh my god.....what have I DONE?"

Personally, my hair drives me nuts right now. It always wraps around my throat when I sleep or gets in my mouth. I can't cut it right now because I'm trying to grow it out so I can donate it to Locks of Love. It's a goal of mine to be able to donate my hair at least once.

In the past when my hair started to drive me nuts, I'd have no qualms about chopping it right off. I never had any regrets, even if I didn't like how it turned out. It's only hair, after all.

I would hate to have it cut! I once got three inches cut off and it felt so strange, I felt bare for weeks... I'd be sooo mad at myself if I ever cut it that much again! It's currently down to my waist. And yes, it annoys me sooo much sometimes, but I still love it! There are a lot of people who would die for my hair~

My hair is knee length, so wearing it down is something that only happens on occasion for me. I've learned how to put it up in a way that's balanced and doesn't pull on my scalp at all, and that makes having long hair so much easier. You're right about knowing that I would regret it if I cut it off. I dreamt so many times that I had and woke up relieved to find my hair intact. Here's a pic if you want to see it down:

Oh gosh you've been there too. I cried for hours and would wake pulling on it yelling grow &*7...

never again, no matter how aggravating it gets. It's long again and I love the feel of it on my back in the wind, blowing wild and how it defies all neatness.

Ugh, yes it drives me MAD!!! Especially in hot weather, it gets very hot here in Spain, and I find it sticking under my armpits in the summer - yuck!!!

And yes, I've thought about having it all taken off, I did once when I was 12, into a bob... I've only ever had it trimmed since, but it's never grown back the same as it was, silky and wavy... and I used to be able to sit on it!

I wear mine up everyday, it wouldn't matter if I did cut it off, but the thought of having to grow it back (which I always do) bothers me, so I leave it, aggravating or nor!!

I had long hair in my early 20's, down to the back of my thighs. I always had a headache. Hair is suppose to be something we enjoy taking care of, and i did not enjoy taking care of it anymore. So I cut it to my shoulders, now I have kids and long hair is just nor practical.So now I grow it out it about mid back, then I cut it to just above my shoulders, that thing great thing about hair, it always grows back. And Locks for Love is a great way to make you feel better about cutting off your long hair!!!

that is exactly what I did!
Mine flew around my face one day while I was driving, got me in the eye one too many times.

So i had it all whacked off....lol I had it since i was like 5, and i was 29 when i had it cut off.

so my answer is YES!..lol

Yes it has. I did cut it once very short, but now it's long again. It looks pretty but sometimes is just a pain in the ***, to take care of :)

Mine is about to my waist. I'm only aggravated when the wind is blowing or when I'm trying orally pleasure my man from on top..hehe.
