Jordan is a pretty much a land locked country. so i believe that is a reason why it has problems with its water. but go to the website below and it will help u more. also, Jordan does not have an education problem. as a matter of fact it is number 15 world wide in education( in 2003). it is one if not the most developed country in middle east.

Yeah According to My Professor (Society and Culture of the Middle East) then Jordan is one of the most educated countries in the Middle East.

My cousins went abroad (from the US) to go to school in Jordan. Education is taken much more seriously over there.

In the urban areas, there really isn't a water problem, I'm not sure about the more rural areas.

I guess it depends on what you mean by "water problems." Are you referring to pollution, or lack of water, or something else?

No education problem.
As for the water problem, I think there are many issues and concerns regarding water.
1. Zerqa river (polution)
2. Jordan river (Israel takes most of the outcome water)
3. Just one port at the Red sea (Aqaba city)
