When I had a professional come in after field mice fled construction next door, they used peanut butter only and got them all.

If you say peanut butter did not work, were the traps sprung or untouched? If sprung you were probably too generous and should just have covered the trigger area. If they were ignored you probably did not put the traps along the edges where they love to run.

You also should look to see where they are coming in. It can be a hole the size of a dime and often high up on walls because mice are great climbers. If you find the opening seal it with brass wool or tight sheet metal.

Give it another try.

the best is Spanish Chorizo sausage , these little devils love the taste & the smell , they just can´t pass by without having a nibble. the problem with mice is getting rid of them . don´t invite them for lunch or dinner , mice only stay when there is a fresh supply of food , so make sure you have no food around for them to live on . check for any holes. 2 smell´s mice hate are peepermint oil , and mothballs. try putting some of these thing´s around , but the Spanish Chorizo works every time . also if you have very small trap´s it might be better to by a bigger one. hope you catch the little devils , there is never one little mouse , they always trail there familys with them . lets hope they pack there bags soon

i take advantage of Decon. The mouse eats it and runs away to locate water, commonly exterior the domicile. I used to place cheese in a catch, yet interior the direction of the evening we would pay attention a noisy SNAP and then we would might desire to circulate down and %. up the catch with a messy mouse physique in it and throw it interior the trashcan. We used glue strips as quickly as. The mouse smeared the glue throughout as he ran with it. you are able to no longer use traps or glue strips in case you have pets or babies. you nonetheless might desire to be cautious the place you place the Decon. purely to make sparkling: we live interior the country the place mice stay exterior interior the sector and attempt to sneak interior whilst the climate gets chilly.

Corn syrup. It could also be that you aren't placing your traps in the right places. You should find out where they're traveling. Usually, they only move along walls and behind furniture so that is where your traps should be.
