Is it true that Passions is going to be replaced with another hour of The Today Show later this year?I think that's stupid it's bad enough that it's on for 3 hours,but on again in the afternoon?

Well, according to http://www.nbc.com/Passions/news/, Passions will be going off the air in September. Here is what it said, "Sad news! “Passions” will end its run on NBC later this year to make room for a fourth hour of the “Today” show. The last episode of your favorite soap will air on September 7, 2007. In the meantime, “Passions” is looking for other platforms to continue the show, whether it be on another network or online. Efforts to save Harmony have already popped up on various websites such as BEST WEEK EVER and MYSPACE.COM." I think it sucks that they're going off the air. The today show does not need to be on for an extra hour.

Yes, they got rid of Passions. Pity. I really liked that show. It was different. Stupid (sometimes), but relaxing. It made you forget your own problems.

That is going to start in September. They are going to tie up most of the loose ends before it's over.
