I'm going to let you in on a little secret - they are the same thing.

Tahoe = Yukon
Silverado = Sierra
Colorado = Canyon
Suburban = Suburban (guess that one is obvious)
S-10 = Sonoma
Blazer = Jimmy
Trailblazer = Envoy

The only difference between the two is the options they come with, and the badges on the vehicle. The main components are absolutely the same.

So, pick the one you like the best.

Officially, the GMC is the more "luxury" model.

The GMC Yukon is the same thing as a Tahoe, but slightly more upscale. The Yukon Denali is a step higher than both models. The Denali line is higher than the base Tahoe/Yukon models, but below the Cadillac Escalade.

All of them are really just the same vehicle, just with slightly different trim and looks.

Same car made by same company. Only difference is that Denali is fancier and pricier. GMC is Chevrolet's luxury truck division. The GMC will have more options available than the Tahoe, but it will cost a few thousand more.

The GMC is actually called the Yukon.
Chevy LS- GMC SLE
Chevy LT- GMC SLT
These are exactly the same, just different styling
The Denali is the highest trim level available in the Yukon. High-grade leather, navigation, gas-sucking 6.2 ltr. engine, Lottsa chrome, high class, etc. All for higher price than Chevy.

the others are wrong. GMCs are different from Chevrolets because of their inspection criteria. GMCs must pass a stricter quality control test and have less margin for error. Infiniti is seen by some as Nissan's luxury line, like Audi to VW, Acura to Honda, Lexus to Toyota. Many of their cars share engines with Nissan cars, but like GMC, Infinitis are subject to more stringent quality standards.

The Acadia is better than the TRailblazer, and the Tahoe/Suburban is better than the Yukon. The Tahoe is also the highest rated SUV by JD Power, and the Chevy Silverado has been winning all the awards.

There was a time when the GMC was a heavier duty truck than a Chevy, but now, they are pretty much the same except for the logos. Pick which one you like the looks of best.

They're pretty much equal. Denali is actually the 'special' editions...there's Yukon Denali, Envoy Denali...whatever else. I guess the best way for you to determine is test drive both, do a detailed comparison and go from there.

GMC's are basically the same as the Chevy's, just better appointed, thus costing more.
Kinda like comparing a Buick to a Chevy.

Don't know if you'll get much help here...people are generally pretty biased about their vehicles and very loyal to one auto maker or another.

I say, there are lemons in every line...so it can be a crapshoot, no matter what you buy. My suggestion is to do some research on the vehicles on websites...and then go with the one you really like.
