I don't know about the lawsuit, if I'm not mistaken, then it is still on, but as for the second X-Files movie, a script has not been written and they still don't have a start date. All they know for certain is that both David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are going to be in it. They still want to do the movie, but progress is slow. They want to base it on one seperate X-Files case as opposed to the entire conspiracy in the X-Files. It'll be more like a "monster of the week" type thing, a stand alone episode. They think that people have forgotten where X-files meft off and things like that. They want people who aren't X-files fanatics to be able to see it. That's all the information that I have on that. Personally, I hope that they start it soon, 'cause I want to see some new X-Files action!

I have not heard about the lawsuit. I am not holding my breath on a new movie but anything is possible. I hope they do make another movie, but to me it seems doubtful, like the forces are against them.

And speak for yourself Timmy; maybe you are done with the X-Files but other people still like to watch it and talk about it. I truly dislike it when people post rude and dismissive answers to someone's legitimate question. If you don't have something nice or helpful to say you should stay out of it. It's called "respect" and treating others how you would like to be treated.
