If you have good credit, there are banks and other lending institutions which will lend you this relatively smal;l amount on a signature loan. If you don't have good credit, forget about it, unless you can put something up for collatteral.

You need an application, and good credit. Getting a personal loan is harder to get than a credit card because its cash plus the intrest rate is usually higher.
