My husband and I are truly struggeling financially. He's about to get laid off and I already work long hours. We're trying to figure out how to make some more money to pay our bills and I heard that you can make decent money donating your eggs. Any comments/tips about this?

Most companies want women who have already had children as donors. In addition it requires heavy fertility meds that are extremely risky to your health. It depends on the place you donate but I found most are around 6k per donation.

In addition a lot of places put your personal info on a website and don't harvest unless someone is interested in you. Meanwhile you are on meds that could result in muliple births if you got pregnant.

If you want to do it, google a few companies and find the one that is right for you. The money is not instant and there are a lot of risks. I debated doing it but for $6k it just wasn't enough.
