Anyone heard any gossip or even know if there will be another season of Afro Samurai?

No.. from what was stated, the series was only made for like 5 episodes (unfortunatly). Now, this dosent mean there won't be more Afro Samurai franchise, but at the moment seems there just won't be any more of the anime side of it. They did state there is a manga so there is always that and Samuel L. Jackson himself also said they are in the works on trying to create an Afro Samurai live action movie. So there will be those. Although there is no official announcement to make more episodes, I wouldn't be surprised if they created more episodes somewhere down the line if there was enough viewership/popularity in the anime.

I believe it was just a 5 episode anime but I heard something about them bringing out a manga on Afro's life previous to the anime.
