Interesting that the starting jobs are mostly set, with how bad they were last year.

Overall they have improved last year espescially if Vidro and Guillen can stay healthy. The rotation will take some of the load off of the overworked bullpen from last year and the new additions to the offense will also help in that manner. I don't think they will beat out the Angels in the West but they might be able to finish second if all goes well.

They will improve but probably only get 3rd or 2nd place. They picked up a few good guys like Miguel Batista. He is a great pitcher except sometimes he goes through those times when he lets up run after run. They have improved their team.

if they want to improve, the first step is to get rid of hargrove and his staff. they keep passing up real talent and spending money on bums. ichiro is going to get tired and leave soon and i don't blame him. seattle has a history of sabotaging their own sports teams by being cheap and letting guys go to other teams only to bring them back and overpay them when they get towards the end of their careers. a kid could do a better job than the people they hire as general managers here! it's as if they don't want to win.

I'm not sure.Sexson and Ichiro are really the only 2 good hitters on the team and I'm not confident in their pitching staff.
