What do you think makes men depressed? Lack of money? Bad luck in relationships? A mixture of both or what else?

I think a man can get depressed about his past if it wasn't so good, if he doesn't have a job, men don't like it when they can't provide for themselves or their spouse or if he has a dead end job
sometimes men can also be insecure about it too, and if they have had too many break ups over "cheating" yeah that could be it as well, if they are not succeeding in life like others around them are heck, that could be depressing for anyone, but yup that's about all I could think of, hope this answered your question, have a good day

Abandonment is a major contributor. Ask yourself, who is dependent on me? You will find some solice there. Money isn't everything but it's way ahead of whatever is in 2nd place. Just keep on plugging away. Do something useful like helping others who are worse off then you.

well that a good /, but i think it sometime due, to bills, an the hurt life give you,,,a lot of men, think they got to be the strong one,that it their job to make thing go right for the family,most men, dont like to talk about their trouble, ann will hold it in,,then their when he was a boys, who know what took places, an then their lost of family,are lost of friends, all this take a toll on us men,

When they realize they made mistakes for pride .Its a killer . Downward spiral. But yes. lack of money Leading to bad relationships , that is a biggy !! Why is it so hard 4 them just to admit thier fault ? We r all human ,,,, well., most of us anyway!!!

Everything you mentioned plus living in a society that doesn't tolerate anyone who is remotely different even if they mean no harm.
