I highly doubt it, main reason is the other people will claim self defense, especially after 9-11. The ACLU already gets a bad rap and I don't think they would risk more on this.

Given that this did not happen in America, I highly doubt it.
And, by the way, last time I checked, EVERYONE in USA charged with a crime is entitled to counsel. Unless the current administration has done away with that right too???
Why are conservatives so afraid of due process?? Afraid you'll lose if you have to play by the rules???
