No, you are mistaken... the correct title is "Let it Beep"... Paul was growing tired of the outgoing message on his answering machine, and as he sang the new message into the machine, a true classic was born...
"let it beep, let it beep, let it beep, there will be an answer, just let it beep". True story.........

"Let It Be" was the last original Beatles' album to be released (in May 1970) as the group officially split up. The music on the album was recorded before the sessions for "Abbey Road", which had been released about seven months earlier.

Because of indecision and friction between the Beatles about how the "Let It Be" project was to be completed, the time period that elapsed between the actual recording sessions (completed largely by February 1969) and the final release to the public was greater than any other Beatles album.

During sessions for "The Beatles" ["White Album"], which immediately predated the "Let It Be" sessions, tension between the Beatles began to flare as they pursued their own individual musical and personal direction. Several songs on "The Beatles" have no other Beatle present except the principal songwriter. The Beatles were beginning to function more as individuals rather than as a group, in the midst of advancing musical and personal differences.

"Let It Be" began in January 1969. Musical rehearsals began at a film studio in London, but were never intentionally recorded for release as an album (although the soundtrack from the 90-plus hours of film shot there was circulated widely, and illegally, in "bootleg" form by others).

The music that was officially released on "Let It Be" comes from studio sessions at the Apple headquarters in Central London The Beatles broke up within months.

As for the wonderful song Let it be, the story goes this way.

Let It Be" is said to have been written by McCartney after a dream in which his mother (Mary) appeared, advising him to relax and be at peace. Paul rewrote this experience into a more universal message of tolerance that became a worldwide hit. The recently deceased Billy Preston fleshes out the arrangement beautifully with organ and electric piano, specifically enhancing the gospel feel of the song in instrumental breaks. Maybe that spiritual connection of McCartney's is what gives this song its eternal haunting beauty.

There... history and truth. Pity we know what we know now about the Beatles.

Lighten up folks. Some people are silly. Some people don't speak English so goot. Some people are just laughing.

I don't know. The Beatles were pretty amazing, but I don't think they could write a song while being stung by a swarm of bees. Maybe so, though, it could be another one of those crazy songs that make no since at all.
