I would like to get my daughter an animal Baby Einstein movie and I know that there are a few types (MacDonald, Animals around the World, Baby Noah, etc.) Just wondering if anyone had experienced these and which one did you think was best?

It depends on how old she is. If she's younger than 6 months then I recommend Baby Bach, Mozart and/or Beethoven-they have more calming images and music. If she's older then I recommend Baby Monet, World Animals(for sure)and my son's favorite is MacDonald-he loves to point and name all the animals and machines. I just love these movies, I believe they are what has kept me so sane during the first few months when I didn't know what else to do!

On the video case it should say something like 9mths and up or whatever for the age group it's appropriate for. MacDonald is more animals that you see in on a farm, they have a neighborhood animals video (we like that one), animals around the world are...animals around the world...baby noah is pretty cool...I like that one too. Just get what you think would fit her best depending on her age....they're all good!

They are WONDERFUL! I can't possibly have enough good to say about them. My only advice is that the target ages for each video are dead on, so pay attention to the box. A 3-month-old will not be as interested in the videos geared for a 1-yr-old. I did find, however, that older kids would still enjoy the videos for younger babies.

Each of the movies will tell you what age they are appropriate for. Look at the age of your daughter and go from there. My baby has watched them for some time. She was introduced to them at seven months, with some of them being just images and music, and nothing more. She still watches them, but of course we get the ones more appropriate for her age (she is 18 months now).

I had the entire field set of the toddler Einstein video clips. i imagine both are a crock. basically spending time such as your newborn, interpreting, repetition, and image books can coach your toddler to appreciate language basically as quickly as any of those courses that value you an arm and a leg to purchase into their "shown" procedures.
