I like this, but I'm wondering if he'd wind up being called Killer instead. What do you think?

He could end up being called Killer, but then again, people can manage to make fun of anything.

My problem with it is that it sounds kind of feminine...I guess because it sounds like Kelly. I know that Kelly is a unisex name, too, but I think most people consider it feminine.

A similar name that I've heard a couple of times is Kyler...kind of like a cross between Kyle and Tyler. I don't love it, but I do think it at least sounds more masculine than Keller.

I think he's be a Killer through most of his grade school years. Chances are, he'd become a bully.

What about Thomas Kellar and then you can call him by his middle name if you wish, but in roll call he won't get called Kellar infron to his little buddies.

Children will always find a way to tease each other, so you have to be careful in naming your child. You don't want to give other children too much ammo, if you know what I mean. You may want to name him Thomas Kellar and then maybe have your immediate family call him Kellar only. Good luck!

I don't think Keller is the best choice; even if he won't wind up teased in school because of this name, it's still too similar to the word "killer" and I just don't think it's good to brand a baby with a name that has such a bad association.

Keller? Hmmm. Don't love it, but don't hate it either. How about a spin on the spelling. Keller, like the great Helen Keller. {and may he be half as enlightend} Hey, they call ole Jerry Lee Lewis "Killer" and look where it got him! A living legend. Legend is a nice name. Hmmm.

I like it too but yes, he probably will be called Killer or Helen Keller by his friends. I really like Thomas. How about Thomas Keller?

Have that be his middle name that way when he is older he can chose the name he likes best between his first and last. This way he won't blame you if the name keller doesn't work out.

It brings killer to mind and I think Thomas Kelly would be better, or Kincaid. or Thomas Kieran.

It think it's a great name! People might call him 'Killer' but, I dunno, I think it's actually a kinda cute nickname. Besides, if you like the name then it shouldn't matter what other people think. It's your decision and I'm sure it will fit quite well.
