Is this a perpetual problem? If yes, then try to be less crabby or moody. If it only happens now and again, then hug your mom and say, "I love you too, mom!" She'll melt.
Maybe its her who's the crabby one at the time. That's called projection...when someone tells you that you act a certain way and it's actually the way THEY feel themselves.

well if you have crabs...then yes, that's always a bad sign, but if you are just crabby, then it happens to the best of us sometimes!!

Moms, don't do that for no reason, you must have done something!! Just say you are sorry and all will be fine. It will be a SIGN that you care and love your mom and that is GOOD. Learn from it and her. She will understand and forgive cause that is what we do.
