Knew that it would happen? No, I don't think so. Though I have to say that he SHOULD have known something was in the offing. The CIA was trying to tell him something was going to happen, but it's clear it didn't sink in.

Cover it up? Yes, but not the way you think. I think there's no end to the depth the Bush administration will sink to cover up the incompetence and bureaucratic infighting that led to us not being able to stop the attacks.

The problem with the conspiracy theories is that they can't accept that the easiest explanation for why top-notch agencies like the FBI and the CIA let the plot slip through the cracks is because DC is rife with bureaucratic in-fighting. The Defense Department hates the CIA (Rumsfeld has been instrumental in stoking up the rivalry between the groups, largely because he's a self-important jerk), the CIA and FBI don't share information and both have contempt for how each other does business, it's all a mess.
But a lot of people look at the federal government as some monolithic entity, some all-seeing eye of domination. They forget it's made up of agencies, each with their own agenda and focus. And boy do they resent it when it looks like another agency is horning in their territory.

There is NO concrete proof that Bush had anything to do with it. NONE. Everything that you mention is clearly speculative. Most of the speculation comes from a strong amount of people not liking him. That doesn't make him guilty.

It is interesting how everyone that pulls this one out has "proof," but that "proof" is never shown. There is always some documentary floating out there that you cannot see. It is always someone's friend who knows someone who met someone once in a bar that had proof that he could provide, but of course, he couldn't do it "right now." What "evidence" is provided is always contrary to FACTS that you can easily obtain from numerous sites. For one thing, Osama Bin Laden has been estranged from his "family" for over a decade. Considering the magnitude of the event, it was clear logic that they needed to get those people out of the country before some pissed off conspiracy nut came after them. It's common sense.

There are no links to this question. There is nothing shown at all. It is going to take a lot more than that to convince me, and I don't even like the President. I do like reason and logical arguments based on empirical fact. To see a small sample of some facts, try this website:

From everything I've gathered it is true that Bush allowed the Bin Ladens out of the country when all other flights were being grounded.....I'm not sure this is definative proof that he had something to do with it....but its pretty fishy. George Bush is a the worst president this country has ever had by a landslide, but I'm not sure he's the cold blooded killer that would send thousands of Americans to their death......oh wait:)

Some groups hate George W. Bush so much that they will believe ANYTHING, even something as RIDICULOUS as this.

At least I have comfort in knowing that these Leftist maniacs are mentally tortured every day by the thought that Bush is the President of the United States.

Not true...

I am not into these stupid conspiricy theorys because they are just that... Conspiricys...

Do you know much money was spent because of that incident? Do you think Bush would take the chance at someone finding out he knew about it? I dont think any human being would allow that to happen, no, not even Bush...

The ckaim that "President"George W.(Dubya)Bush knew that 9/11 would happen and tried to cover it up is not entirely true;he knew but was unable to cover it up until after it happened.

How can liberals claim that GWB is the dumbest Pres. ever, then claim that he is able to pull off 9/11 without no one ever finding out?

Actually, this is a paranoid theory that played very effectively off the fears of our entire nation. Even CLINTON wouldn't do that!
