my computer crashed yesterday so i rebooted it but i lost all my songs in the copmputer, but the night before i sync my ipod and i have all the songs on my ipod but i have no idea how to ge them back on my computer help my out please my music is my life

I've seen people recommend a program called iDump for copying songs back to your computer. It's a free program. I haven't used it, though, since I keep everything that I put onto my iPod stored on my hard drive(200GB). You might have some luck with that. Just do a search for iDump.

This might work.
If you plug your iPod to your PC then navigate to My Computer you might see the iPod icon there as a remobable hard drive.
click on it open and look for the folder called music.
Copy it by right clicking on it and select copy then paste it in my music folder of your computer.

Try that it might work.

If you get all the 5000 songs back get a floppy disk and save all your songs to that, So if it ever crashes again just put the floppy disk in.

once you open up iTunes click on your iPod then there must be your iPod and that is application version, means, serial decision, and that is call. Then decrease than it is going to be the position you fix or examine for an replace. decrease than that it will say "ideas" Uncheck the container that asserts "Sync in trouble-free terms checked songs and videos" examine "Manually cope with music and videos" solid success! :-) desire this helps

There's a little program from Mediafour called XPlay, which can copy your songs from your iPod to your computer.

take your PC to your favorite computer store and get a copy of the Hard Drive made

use "idump" download it from download.com....it will copy the songs from ur ipod to ur pc
