It is a shame he used that finger to describe his feelings. Words are more powerful and mature. Using swear words and obscene gestures just show ignorance and are when people stop thnking and have to resort to using them. That being said, he is free to express his opinion, just as anyone else is. That is why I the USA!!

I would agree about the childish part but everyone has the right to their opinions about the president or any other leader in this Country. Ricky Martin is not exactly a rocket scientist, so just take it for what it is worth. It is yet another example of the Hollywood/celebrities lack of tolerance for others & their arroagance. If we would stop treating these morons like they are special and make them face reality then they would stop tring to run our lives, thoughts and behaviors!

Your screen name is Opinionated, right? I guess that means you have a right to your opinions. We all do. Even Ricky Martin in spite of his status and perceived sexual identity and IQ. While I don't like President Bush, I do agree that giving the finger is childish and a demonstration of limited intelligence. I can't really say disrespectful because I was taught that respect is something that you earn and in my opinion, President Bush has not earned mine.
