does anyone else think the movie all dogs go to heaven is more like a crime movie? even though it's a kids movie it reminds me of a gangster movie like goodfellas or layer cake. the dialogue that they use sounds like a gangster movie also. i was obsessed with that movie lol. i still am.

Of course it is. A band of pick-pockets, con-artists, gangsters, a mob-boss, murder, a tommy gun. It has all the elements of a great gangster film, put into a kid-friendly format. Just because Charlie comes back to life, doesn't change the fact that he was the victim of a hit. It's like God Father meets Pound Puppies. I used to love that movie.

Duh!....they give them names like Scarface....who knocks of Charlie...They go to underground gambling houses. Itchy breaks Charlie out of the big house. Scarface tries to kill Charlie again while he is walking through the street market with Ann-Marie. It's got GANGSTER MOVIE written all over it.

A little, I guess. All I know is that it makes me cry like a 2 year old every time I see it. Even at the ripe old age of 25!

I don't think it is a crime movie. But...at a young age I did realize that Charlie was a "criminal".
