I'm going out to dance tonight and I need to buy a purse. I'll probably wear a little black dress. Should I buy a small black purse w/a strap - so I can keep it on while I'm dancing - or will that look too dorky - or should I just buy a clutch. Its a pretty crowded place and I'm worried about leaving it unattended while I dance. Any suggestions as to shops will be helpful also. Thanks!

I would definitely go with a clutch. You can find one that has a strap that can be tucked into the purse when your not dancing. If you can't find one like that, go with a purse with a strap so you can keep tabs on your stuff -at all times! Good luck shopping and have a great time at the dance!

I say buy a clutch purse that also has a little strap that you can wear right on your wrist. I'd also go with a different color than black just to add some contrast.

it depends on how cute the purse is and how well it coordinates with your outfit. i'd go with the clutch, but if you're really worried about somebody taking it, get the strapped one. as for shops, target has cute inexpensive clutches and stuff, icing sometimes has cute stuff, and nordstrom has a great selection.

I would go with a clutch in a contrasting color to your dress. The great thing about black is you can use just about any color bag with it. A nice sparkly clutch would look great or a clutch in a solid color such as pink, red, teal or silver. Have a great time.

Go with the clutch. It looks a lot nicer/dressier than a purse with a strap, you can tuck it under your arm.

I would go with an evening purse with a removeable strap or a strap that can be tucked in. It's there if you do need it.

i say go with a clutch, wear a color that shows up good against your dress like hot pink, red, white, gold, or silver .
