There is no Climate Crisis. There has never been one. Al Gore needs to spend more time on real politics.

at the beginning, i do no longer know if Gore has any particular set of plans. he's not a legislator and hasn't been one considering the fact that 1992. on the different hand, he's plugged into environmental and study circles who've been investigating the full count. the component of Gore's action picture--which i got here across extremely sturdy--became into to tell human beings of projected effects of a warming style globally. Gore confirmed what climatologists are very lots agreed upon: that the warmest years considering the fact that 1880, while records have been first stored have particularly lots all are available in the final 15 years. He makes use of scientific study to correlate that to carbon emissions because of the fact the business revolution. he's not doing it to rain on human beings's parade. that's an argument which the scientific community is almost all in settlement on (that the earth is unnaturally warming). some replies have indicated that chilly temperatures interior of u.s. stand in assessment to the probability of international warming. close by climate varieties are actually not a correct length of international warming's life or no longer. Temperature and climate documents are. The thickness of polar ice caps is. considering the fact that X-Mas people who doubt international warming element to the blizzards in Denver and in some states in the midwest as examples of this. that may no longer a correct way of measuring it. If that have been the case then us right here in eastern ny, from Albany each and each of how out to the Hamptons ought to attest devoid of doubt to international warming, for we had our first significant snowstorm the different day, that's on common 2 months later than widely used.

Firstly, I don't know if Gore has any specific set of plans. He is not a legislator and hasn't been one since 1992. On the other hand, he is plugged into environmental and research circles who have been investigating the whole matter. The point of Gore's movie--which I found quite good--was to inform people of projected consequences of a warming trend globally. Gore showed what climatologists are very much agreed upon: that the warmest years since 1880, when records were first kept have pretty much all come in the last 15 years. He uses scientific research to correlate that to carbon emissions since the industrial revolution. He's not doing it to rain on people's parade. This is a matter which the scientific community is nearly all in agreement on (that the earth is unnaturally warming). Some replies have indicated that cold temperatures in the United States stand in contrast to the likelihood of global warming. Local weather patterns are not an accurate measurement of global warming's existence or not. Temperature and climate data are. The thickness of polar ice caps is. Since X-Mas people who doubt global warming point to the blizzards in Denver and in some states in the midwest as examples of this. That is not an accurate way of measuring it. If that were the case then us here in Eastern New York, from Albany all the way out to the Hamptons could attest without doubt to global warming, for we had our first significant snowfall the other day, which is on average two months later than normal.

He is trying to get everybody involved. We have to change the way we do some things. Heat Island Syndrome is one big example of why there is global warming and air pollution. For people who don't know what happened in the city of Chicago, Illinois during the summer of 2000, over 2000 people died from the extreme heat. Studies showed that the actual air temperature read over 60 degrees F higher over black covered areas. these included parking lots, roads, roof tops, etc. After this study was examined the city mandated to change to greenery wherever possible and replace the black asphalt with a light colored surface. Black asphalt absorbs the sun's heat and slowly emits it into the atmosphere. It also has poor reflectivity where the heat cannot be pushed back into the upper atmosphere. In addition the air becomes stagnated and becomes polluted. Also, automobiles have to be made so they burn fuel that doesn't add to global warming, industry has to burn cleaner fuels and there are many of them. It might take an act of Congress to get everyone to comply.

There is no "crisis". But he wants us to drive those little lawn mower type cars while he drives around in limos or SUV's. He wants us to live in caves while he jet-sets with the rich and famous. He wants us, the common person, to sacrifice and live an existence not much different than the early pioneers while he wines and dines with celebrities.
Al Gore is an elitist arrogant hypocrite who demands that we change our lifestyles while he maintains his.

He doesn't have a plan because there isn't anything anyone can do that will stop the natural cycles the earth goes through. With Gore this is a religious crusade that dovetails perfectly with his desire to enlarge government and create a one world government.

Haha - you stupid conservatives. always going with your gut instead of facts

Michael N - just goes to show how much you actually know about globabl warming

the record snow fall is coming from increased lake effect snow. See, it hasn't been cold enough to freeze the great lakes. Because they haven't frozen, they are pumping alot of humidity into the air, which means more snow for the northeast.

I think he should join hands with other gullible global warming idiots, lock themselves in a sound proof room, and discuss the faux crisis.
At least they'd be occupied and I wouldn't have to hear their useless waste of hot air they constantly spew.
