In UK preferably, which sites would the nerdy types frequent? I want to chat with people who are NOT looking for a date. Just like minded, exchange views and that type of thing. No msn or my space!

yahoo chat sites have many sites (hobbys, general etc ) sign up to messenger (free) and you have a wide choice

I think nearly all of them will have people on there that after alot more than friendship!!!
